The second stop on our shore excursion is Amalfi, the maritime capital of the coast, with the famous Duomo di Sant'Andrea. Here you can stroll around to do some shopping and sample the pastries and lemon ice cream products with quality sfusato amalfitano lemons that grow abundantly in the area.
The third stop is in Positano, the gem of the coast, where you can visit the Chiesa di Santa Maria Assunta with its characteristic tiled dome and also the Roman Villa which was discovered beneath the Church and which was destroyed by an earthquake during the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79AD. In the coastal town, there are the famous artisan shops overflowing with colourful pottery, leather sandals and linen clothing and you can enjoy a fresh lemon ice cream at one of the many trendy cafés or stroll along the beach with the most famous and most photographed beaches in the world.
